... Petitioner/Accused 1 & 2

Vs State Rep.by The Inspector of Police, Vengamedu Police Station, Karur District. Crime No.349 of 2022.

... Respondents/Complainant For Petitioners : Mr.N.Balasubrammani, Advocate.

For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor. PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.349 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/accused who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime 349 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

¶2When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioners were already granted anticipatory bail by the learned Principal District Judge, Karur, in Crl.M.P.No.283 of 2023, 165 of 2023.

¶3Even though the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by the learned Principal District Judge, Karur, the conditions were not complied by them within the time stipulated, so, it was dismissed. They moved another application before this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.14193 of 2023, in which, liberty was granted to the petitioners to file proper application, seeking extension of time before the concerned Court. That was filed and later that was also dismissed. The petitioners are directed to surrender before the respondent Police or concerned Court and seek regular bail. There is no question of second anticipatory bail.

¶4With the above said direction, this petition is dismissed. sd/- 02/11/2023 / TRUE COPY /
