Judgment

O R D E R [Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE] When the contempt petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent contemnor submitted that as per the directions issued by this Court, notice was issued, which was also questioned by way of writ petition before this Court in W.P.(MD) No.1749/2023. Therefore, the direction could not be complied with. However, when the writ petition was dismissed by this Court on 31.01.2023, encroachment has been removed and consequently a direction of this Court has also been complied with.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner would also submit that the encroachments have been removed.

¶3Contemnor has also filed a reply affidavit, wherein, in Paragraph No.7, he has stated that the encroachments have been removed on 28.01.2023.

¶4In the light of the above, this contempt petition is closed.
