DISMISSED
Court
High Court of Madras
Decided
8 December 2023
Bench
G.R.Swaminathanauthor
Case no.
WP(MD) 28983/2023

Judgment

ORDER Heard both sides.

¶2The petitioner seeks issuance of patta for the petition mentioned land. The petitioner claims to have purchased the same way back in the year 1989.

¶3When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate drew my attention to the relevant entry. In the revenue record, 'A' register entry indicates that Survey No.291/1, 2 &3 stands in the name of 'fs;sh; klk;'. I fail to understand as to how such endowed property could have been sold. Therefore, I am not in a position to grant relief as prayed for.

¶4The Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
