Josephin Brinda Mary.R v. The Registrar of Co-Operative Societies

ORDER The present writ petition has been filed by a Typist working in the 5th respondent Co-operative Society seeking conferment of permanent status on the basis of Tamil Nadu Conferment of Permanent Status of Workmen Act, 1981.

¶2The competent authority under the said Act is the Deputy Commissioner of Labour and therefore, the present writ petition is not maintainable. The writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the writ petitioner to approach the competent authority.

¶3With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
