By an order passed today in MC(WP(C)) No. 25 of 2023, the names of the petitioner Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10 & 12 had been deleted as they do not want to pursue the relief sought for in the present writ petition.

In view of the above, only petitioner Nos. 5, 8 & 11 remains in the present writ petition. They are represented by Mrs. Nautuneshwori, learned counsel.

Mr. H. Samarjit, learned GA appearing for the official respondents, Mrs. O.Momota, learned counsel appearing for the MPSC and Ms. Rinika Maibam, learned counsel appearing for the newly impleaded respondent Nos. 5 to 26 seeks one week's time for filing their respective counter affidavits.

As prayed for, list this case again on 6th February, 2023.

Earlier interim order shall continue till the next date.

Registry is directed to delete the name of Mr. O. Chittaranjan and his associate colleagues from the cause list and in their place, the name of Mrs. Nautuneshwori, learned counsel be shown in the cause list.

Mr. O. Chittaranjan, learned counsel appeared for the applicant, Mr. H. Samarjit, learned GA appeared for the respondent Nos. 1, 2 & 3 and Mrs. O. Momota, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 4.

The present application has been filed by the petitioner Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10 & 12 in the connected WP(C) No. 703 of 2022 with a prayer for striking out/deleting their names from the connected writ petition on the ground that they do not want to pursue the relief sought for in the said writ petition.

Mr. H. Samarjit, learned GA and Mrs. O. Momota, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that they have no objection in allowing the present application.

In view of the submission made by the parties and after perusing the record of the present application, the present application is hereby allowed.

Registry is directed to delete the names of the present applicants from the array of parties in the connected WP(C) No. 703 of 2022.

The present application has been filed with a prayer for allowing the applicants to implead them as respondent Nos. 5 to 26 in the connected WP(C) No. 703 of 2022.

Mr. H. Samarjit, learned GA, Mrs. O. Momota, learned counsel and Mrs. Nautuneshwori, learned counsel appearing for the respondents have no objection in allowing impleadment of the applicants.

In view of the above submission and on perusal of the record of the present application, this Court finds sufficient ground for allowing the application. Accordingly, the present application is hereby allowed.

Registry is directed to incorporate the names of the applicants in the connected WP(C) No. 703 of 2022 as respondent Nos. 5 to 26.
