Mr. T. Rajendra, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Mr. Sh. Bikash Sharma, learned counsel appeared on behalf of the applicant and Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel appeared on behalf of the respondent No. 1, who is the contesting party. None appeared on behalf of the respondents No. 2, 3 and 4.

By an order dated 18-04-2026 passed in MC(El. Petn.) No. 111 of 2022 (Ref:- El. Petn. No. 10 of 2022), the parties were directed to submit their suggested issues and fixed the cases on 21-04-2023 for framing of issues.

The present application has been filed by the election petitioner with the prayer for deferring the framing of issues on the ground that two review petitions, viz., Rev. Petn. (J2) No. 1 of 2022 and Rev. Petn. (J2) No. 2 of 2022 filed by the election petitioner is still pending. It has been submitted by the learned Senior Advocate appearing for the applicant that before deciding the said two review petitions, the proceeding for framing of issues in connection with the election petition be deferred. Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel appearing for the contesting respondent No. 1 fairly submitted that he has no objection in allowing the prayer made in the present application.

Registry is directed to list the El. Petn. No. 10 of 2022, El. Recr. Petn. No. 21 of 2022, Rev. Petn. (J2) No. 1 of 2022 and Rev. Petn. (J2) No. 2 of 2022 along with the connected applications on 17-09-2026.

With the aforesaid directions, the present application stands disposed of.
