Heard Ms. A. Debbarma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. M. Debbarma, learned Addl. G.A. appearing for the respondents. In this case, the petitioners have prayed for regularisation of their services. It is submitted by Ms. A. Debbarma, learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have been serving for more than 15 years as Casual/DRW and Permanent Labourers under the Department of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare, Government of Tripura and are entitled to be regularised as Farm Workers in terms of Memorandum dated

12.08.2014. It is the case of the petitioners that after serving 15 years as Casual/DRW and Permanent labourers, they have to be treated as Farm Workers. The grievance of the petitioners is that despite their eligibility, their services have not been regularised with the regular pay scales. Mr. Debbarma, learned Addl. G.A has submitted that except petitioner nos.3 and 4, none of the petitioners are eligible for regularisation. In view of this disputed question, I direct the respondents to consider the cases of each of the petitioners individually and whoever is found eligible, their services may be regularised as per existing rules. The entire process shall be completed within a period of 3(three) months from today. With the aforesaid direction, the instant writ petition stands disposed.
