Section 423: Warrant for levy of fine issued by a Court in any territory to which this Code does not extend
The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 was repealed and replaced by the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 from 1 July 2024. It still applies to matters and proceedings from before that date, as the repealing law provides.
In plain words
A warrant to a Collector issued by a criminal court in a territory where this Code does not extend, to recover a fine as land revenue arrears, is treated as a warrant under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 421 and executed the same way.
